About the Pool
The College Park Woods Community Pool is located at 3545 Marlbrough Way College Park, MD 20740, a few blocks from the University of Maryland and the National Archives II. Our pool offers something for everyone: We have dedicated lap lanes for avid exercisers, shallow areas for those seeking to relax, diving boards for the thrill seekers, and lounging areas for those seek to simply relax. Our members are singles, couples, young and young at heart. We welcome you to join our family. The pool's features include: Lap Lanes: Our six lap lanes are 25 meters in length. Diving board & Deep Area: Our two 1 meter diving boards and deep area (7-12 feet) enable a variety of deep water activities. Shallow Area: The shallow area (2 to 4 feet deep) allows children to play freely while their feet touching the bottom. Infant & Toddler Toddler Wading Pool: A separate area for parents with infants/toddlers. Features shade, play area and water table. Renovated Clubhouse: Our clubhouse , renovated in 2009, has a party room that can host 50 people. A kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave on-site. Shower/Changing Rooms: Spacious Men and Women's Rooms changing rooms with hot and cold showers. Picnic tables: A large lounging and picnic area with beach umbrellas and trees for shade.
